Ideal for situations where storage heating is being replaced. Where existing wiring is to current standards the radiators are spurred into the existing sockets and the wiring is taken to the EHC control box. The room thermostat and programmer are also linked into this unit. When the room thermostat temperature has been achieved the control unit disables the power to the radiators. When the thermostat calls for the heat the contactor closes and power is re-installed to heat the radiators. This configuration provides the user with a fully controllable central heating system.
