Calmag Water Hardness TESTING KIT

If you live in a hard water area you will know the tell tale signs such as furring of appliances, scale deposits in a heating system, noisy radiators and reduced flow and efficiency. In short knowing the level of water hardness and putting in place the correct solution can save money.

CALTEST can take the guess work out of diagnosing water hardness. It’s easy to use with results in seconds.

All you have to do is remove the Water Hardness Reagent bottle from test tube and fill the test tube from the cold water tap to the 10mm mark, then replace test tube lid.

Remove Water Hardness Reagent lid. Squeezing the Hardness Reagent bottle gently, adding one drop at a time, mixing between drops, until colour changes from Red to Blue.

Make sure to count the drops, then multiply by 20 to give your water hardness reading.

5-15 DROPS/100-300ppm*
=CALMAG SCALE INHIBITOR RECOMMENDED

OVER 15 DROPS/ OVER 300ppm*

*ppm ~ relates to parts per million of hardness in the water. Any reading above 100 ppm will result in a water hardness problem.
