Contact Adhesive Sureseal 5 Litre Pouring Can

-  Ref: SX-SUCA5

A high quality, high tack, low viscosity, one part neoprene contact adhesive. Formulated for non- mechanical application, this product has a long open time and is easy to apply.

Uses: This highly versatile adhesive will bond a large variety of materials including: laminated plastic, metal, lino, rubber, decorative hardboards, veneers, cork, wood, formica, melamine, glass, carpet, cloth and leather.

Colour: Natural.

Packaging: 5 Litre tins packed 1, 5 or 10.

Preparation: The materials to be bonded must be sound, clean, dry, smooth and free from oil or grease. Stir adhesive well before use until perfectly mixed.

Application: Apply a uniform coating of Contact Adhesive to both surfaces using a stiff brush or serrated trowel. Allow 10 - 20 minutes until the adhesive is dry to touch. Position the coated surfaces accurately and press firmly to ensure overall contact. Mechanical pressing, even for a very short time will always give superior results.

Finishing: Final bond is resistant to water, oil, mild acids and alkalis after 24 hours. Drying time and open time are both dependant on adhesive coverage and ambient conditions. Adequate drying times must be allowed to avoid solvent entrapment. It is the user's responsibility to dispose of all packaging correctly.
