Product Information - Duchy Platinum Steam Room
The Duchy Platinum Combined Sauna / Steam / Shower Room will make a striking addition to your bathroom - providing a luxury and healthy place to relax and unwind. The Platinum design incorporates a sliding door between the sauna area and the steam/shower area. The main entrance to the unit is into the shower room. This feature will enable you to move between the units without having to step outside until your wellbeing experience has finished.

One Superb Luxury feature is the remote control. You'll be able to turn on the shower, the deluge shower head and/or the massage jets even before you get into your relaxing steam / shower cubicle.

Cleaning Tips - Duchy Platinum Steam Room

| Clean immediately after use to stop a building up of dirt and scale |
| Use warm soapy water, Cif cream cleaner or Domestos multi-surface cleaner |
| Fix dripping taps - this stops scale and limescale build-up |
| Occasional use of mild bathroom limescale removers is acceptable |
| Use in accordance with manufacturers' instructions, rinsing off well with plenty of water immediately after use |

Assembly - Duchy Platinum Steam Room
The Duchy Platinum Steam and Sauna Room is a Freestanding Unit and should not be built into the room. This ensures quick and easy access to the unit for servicing and installation. One Great feature of this steam room is the ability to install it somewhere else in you home after initial installation.
Electrical Connections - Duchy Platinum Steam Room
- A 16 AMP electrical supply is required for for this steam room to work
- This unit is supplied with an RCD (Residual Current Device) reset switch on the unit flex
- This steam room can be wired via an I.P. 56 Socket wired directly to the consumer box
- WE RECOMMEND USING A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN
Plumbing Considerations - Duchy Platinum Steam Room
Both Hot & Cold water supplies must be of high pressure. (minimum of 9 litres per minute per water feed - combined LPM of18). The unit requires a supply pressure of 2.5-3.0 bar, typically provided by a:
- 1: Combi Boiler
- 2: Pressurised Pump,or
- 3: Pressurised Cylinder
Pipework must be recessed to allow the finished unit to sit flush against the wall. Use full bore water lever ball valves for
hot and cold supply to enable quick and easy shutoff of the supply. The unit comes pre-connected with a flexible waste hose fitting. This flexible hose can be connected to the rooms built in waste pipe and exit.
Tiling Considerations - Duchy Platinum Steam Room
Prior to installation it is recommended to tile both behind and below the unit, including a clearance around the unit to avoid “building in” and the unnecessary moving of the installed steam shower.
