CalChem System Flush & Inhibitor All in One

-  Ref: CalChem

CALMAG LTD, specialists in water conditioning equipment have launched their own 3 in 1 chemical inhibitor, which is designed to make life easier.

Over the past period there has been an influx of chemical inhibitors on the market place, which has led to confusion for the end user. Calmag have manufactured a chemical inhibitor, which is designed to give a three-way use restoration, reduction and protection. The restoration comes in the form of removing sludge, scale, flux and other debris to restore the heating efficiency of existing systems.

The reduction comes in the form of preventing boiler noise, venting of radiators and pump seizure, and the protection against corrosion damage and limescale formation.

'After careful consultation and market research consumers have been confused by the amount of chemical inhibitors have been on sale and do not really know which ones to use for the optimum effect', explains Angela Wysocki, MD of Calmag,

'what we have manufactured, working alongside one of largest chemical company’s, is that we have been able to produce a general inhibitor that will give the performance of three other inhibitors, and all in a one litre bottle.'

'This is not a major breakthrough in science, but more of a consolidation of resources to produce a product that is fit for purpose' adds Angela.

CalChem extends the life of systems, saves on heating bills, reduces maintenance, prevents cold spots on radiators, and is a fast reacting liquid designed for power flushing machines which contains special wetting, anti-foaming and corrosion inhibiting agents.

The all-in-one chemical inhibitor breaks down the particular problem in one easy step by diluting the product dependent on the system, and comes complete in a easy to handle one litre bottle to cut down on extra purchases and waste.

On a system with 10-15 radiators, 2 litres should be sufficient.

The system will require a top-up if the water supply has been interrupted for any reason, or new radiators have been added.

A further 1 litre should be added every 2 years to prolong the efficiency of the system and to ensure that any further sludge, scale and silt build-up is re-circulated within the system and held in suspension.
