What Is The Gledhill Seagull Rectangular Packaged Plumbing Unit?

The Gledhill Seagull Rectangular is a fully packaged plumbing unit, and includes the cold water supply tank, primary feed and expansion tank, as well as the domestic hot water storage tank. This variation of the Seagull Packaged Plumbing Unit is insulated with Steel Ace Insulation. Installation time is kept to a minimum because connections to remote tanks do not to be made, and the hot water storage tank has been removed.

Seagull Packaged Plumbing Units are another method by which dry roof spaces may be achieved. This is becoming more important as insulation standards are increasing.

How Does The Gledhill Seagull Rectangular Packaged Plumbing Unit Work?

Seagull Indirect Packaged Plumbing Units are for use with Gas, Oil or Solid Fuel and will supply hot water for single and multi bathroom dwellings.

The Seagull has integral primary and secondary cold feed tanks complete with their own ballvalves and overflows, making it a genuine double feed tank. Either circuit can be drained down for maintenance leaving the other circuit intact. There is complete safety in using primary circuit additives because the true double feed format, with two ball valves, totally prevents migration from primary to secondary.
