3.5mm Steel Enamel Construction

Not even the microscopically tiniest scratches occur on the smooth, glass-hard surface: bacteria don’t have a chance to settle. The unique surface also appeals for its easy-care properties: cleaning takes only moments, and no smears or traces remain when dry.

Wear-Resistant and Impact-Resistant

If metal rubs against the enamel on this Kaldewei bath, the metal rubs off and the enamel remains unchanged. The 3.5mm steel guarantees unbeatable stability. This bath easily survives the pistol test and is much harder than acrylic.

Acid and Chemical-Resistant

Kaldewei steel enamel is acid-resistant to DIN ISO 2722, class AA (the highest level). It is also resistant to all cosmetic and medical bath additives and perfumes that are tolerated by human skin.

Less Material Expansion

Kaldewei baths hardly ever expand at all in temperature fluctuations. This means that the joints will never tear or crack, and moisture cannot damage the structure.

Colourfast

Enamel is extremely resistant to aging. Kaldewei steel enamel is UV-resistant and lightfast - meaning that it does not fade. The colour of acrylic can deteriorate over time - but not Kaldewei steel enamel baths.

Anti-Slip Enamel

The Kaldewei anti-slip enamelling is made of a mixture of quartz and sand and is permanently fired into the Kaldewei steel enamel 3.5mm. Thanks to the structured surface, it offers more safety during bathing or showering. Anti-slip does not wear off even if it is permanently used.

Full Anti-Slip Enamel

The Kaldewei full anti-slip enamelling is made of a mixture of quartz and sand and is permanently fired into the Kaldewei steel enamel 3.5mm. It will cover a greater surface area of your bathtub for an even safer bathing experience. It has been tested and approved for permanent use.
