The MX shower wall outlet is an outlet that is fixed to the wall and connect your shower hose to your water outlet pipe. A wall outlet is not required if you are attaching your hose directly to a mixer, these are called external mixers. All concealed mixers require a wall outlet to connect the hose to the mixer.
