The Marmox Showerlay is a floor level, barrier free shower panel that is designed for shower and wet room applications, and is ready to receive a surface finish. The underlay is made with a waterproof extruded polystyrene core. The Showerlay wet room shower tray is reinforced with a fibreglass mesh, set into polymer cement and is impact resistant, and a thin stainless steel sheet reinforces the waste outlet hole. The Showerlay Wetroom Shower Tray is compatible with most tile adhesives.
The Marmox Showerlay is ideal for wet rooms and shower construction. It can be easily cut to fit the shower area ot to produce an irregular or circular shower base. The Marmox Showerlay is sufficiently robust to be surfaced with mosaic tiles without the rise of compression through point loading.
Please Note - This product CANNOT be used in conjunction with vinyl flooring. It only supports tiled floors.
Difference between Showerlay and Showerstone
Showerlay (this product) requires support beneath the joists, and the waste area to be back filled.
Showerstone is a stronger wet room tray and can be installed without the additional support.

Depending on your waste water installation requirements, you will need either a Horizontal or Vertcial Shower Tray Trap. Each Trap comes comeplete with a Chrome Plated Top Grill like the design in the picture above. Choose your option above.
