The Mendip shower trays are commonly known as the ‘above ground waste’ trays. These trays are specified when it is impossible to breach or remove the floor screed, often in blocks of flats. These trays also eliminate the need for shower waste pumps.
These highly robust trays require no bedding down because of the high manufacturing specification, which allows them to be fully self-supporting. The trays are 90mm high and have the option of a 50mm half step or ramp. The trap is fitted to the tray during manufacture and has the benefit of a 50mm water seal.
The inspection cover is easily removed in order to check the waste pipe connections.
