This QSS Slimline Bunded Oil Tank, capacity 1000 Litres (219 Gallons), is a bunded tank that is superbly manufactured to the highest standards. The design of every QSS oil tank is as a result of QSS talking to their customers and listening to their needs to bring great looking tanks with superb features on the market at a low competitive price.

QSS Oil Tank Features

Every QSS oil tank undergoes a thorough inspection prior to despatch.
All QSS Oil Tanks should be installed on a firm flat surface supporting the entire base area of the tank, this base should extend 300mm on all sides. Refer to OFTEC booklet TI/131 for advise on siting of tanks.
All tanks are manufactured from UV stabilised medium grade polyethylene and are supplied with 1" BSP outlets.
QSS tanks are compatible with the latest electronic low level and overfill alarms

Further Information about QSS Oil Tanks

QSS tanks are members of OFTEC and all their products are manufactured in accordance to current OFTEC guidelines. All QSS Oil tanks come complete with a ten year warranty and an OFTEC CD10T which should be completed at time of installation, risk assessment reports TI/133 should also be completed before installation, T19 will give advice on construction of tank base required. ABOUT BUNDED OIL TANKS

Bunded oil tanks are a legal requirement for installation in all commercial, industrial and institutional premises for storage of over 200 litres. Specific guidance is also given by OFTEC where an installation of a bunded oil tank, and not a single skin oil tank, must be installed....

Tank Installed within 50 metres of a well, borehole or spring
Tank Installed within 10 metres of controlled water e.g. open drain, manhole cover, river, stream or lake
Tank Installed where the tanks vent is not visible from its fill point
Tank Installed where the capacity exceeds 2500 litres or when any potential spillage could run over ground into controlled waters
