Please note: The higher the kilowatt rating of the shower, the better the performance. Expect performance to be reduced during winter months when the incoming mains water is colder, as it takes longer for the shower to heat to the required temperature.
An electric shower must be installed on its own circuit and not spurred from any other connections or appliance. The electrical distribution unit, switches and cable ratings must be suitably rated in accordance with the relevant regulations.
Specifying cable that exceeds the minimum requirement (e.g. 10mm rather than 6mm) will make upgrading the shower easier in the future!
