Therma-Coat - Acrylic Insulating Primer


Acrylic primer with Thermilate ceramic breads suspended in the formulation. The ceramic beads block radiant heat. The beads are also hollow which reduces thermal conductivity. Designed to replace the standard Acrylic Primer that is sold with under-tile kits.
  • Specially formulated for use with electric under-tile heating.
  • Reduces Energy Loss by up to 20%
  • For use on Concrete, Tile Backer Boards, Bricks, Blocks and most surfaces.
  • Greatly reduces warm up time for Underfloor Heating system. Can make a +2C difference with the same energy
  • Available in 1 litre sealed contrainers, Coverage up to 16m squared
  • Heat is thermally blocked from leaving the room
  • Floors are warmer
  • Suitable for most surfaces
  • Can be applied with a brush or roller
  • Equivalent to approx 4.5mm of extruded polystyrene
When installing any underfloor heating system, heat loss is a unfornate side effect. With Therma-Coat, heat loss can be greatly reduced, reducing costs of running the underfloor system.
