MIXER VALVE SHOWER INSTALLATION The pump is automatically activated on via two flow switches installed in the cold and hot water feeds. Either one can turn the pump on but both flow switches need to be off before the pump will switch off. When the shower is switched off the pump continues to run due to an easily adjusted run-on timer, which allows the shower tray to drain completely before the pump switches off automatically.
