Men are known for the inability to let things go and according to the report in the Daily Mail, this unwillingness to be wasteful extends to the bathroom cabinets of men up and down the country. The squirrel like tendency of men to hoard products in their bathroom cabinets seemingly knows no bounds and things ranging from aged empty toothpaste tubes to ten year old soaps are not common. It is no surprise then that many man are being coerced into buying new bathroom cabinets for a fresh start away from their, now defunct, toiletries.

Bathroom Cabinets – Letting Go

According to the report in the Daily Mail, men’s bathroom cabinets are a veritable house of horrors which are home to some ridiculously outdated bathroom products and toiletries. For these men who just can’t let go, the writing is certainly on the wall for their bathroom cabinets when their significant others see what atrocities reside inside them. The most commonly offending products to be lurking in the back of men’s bathroom cabinets include shower gel bottles with a miniscule amount remaining, soap which is decades old, ancient tubs of hair gel and numerous other toiletry terrors.

Bathroom Cabinets – Worst Offenders

According to the report in the Daily Mail, the age group of men who have the most difficulty in letting their toiletries go or, more honestly, cleaning their bathroom cabinets is those aged between 17 and 20 and had 25% more out of date toiletries lurking in their bathroom cabinets. There also appeared to be a North/South divide in the cleanliness of bathroom cabinets with Northerners having 16% more old bottles in their bathroom cabinets. However, many men are now agreeing to the distressing process of discarding their useless toiletries and purchasing new bathroom cabinets.
