There’s no need to compromise the style and impact of bathroom suites in order to make them more environmentally friendly. There are some simple, and often overlooked, factors that are easy to address and serve the purpose of making bathrooms much more eco-friendly. Some of the most common ways of addressing water wastage in bathrooms include:

• Tackle leaking taps. It is surprising just how much water is wasted in bathrooms as a result of dripping taps. They are easy to fix and will save a large amount of water.
• Spend slightly less time in the shower enclosure - or use slightly less water in the bath. Just knocking a couple of minutes of showering time in bathrooms will save a considerable amount of water per household each day.
• Lower the temperature. Knocking just a few degrees off the temperature of the water in baths and showers can save a substantial amount of energy.
• Turn of taps whilst shaving or brushing teeth. When in bathrooms, most people will leave the taps running whilst they shave but think whether this is really necessary. Turning the tap off during these daily activities will save a bountiful supply of water.
