The Toilet Seat Argument - Are men finally winning

It appears that men are now winning the age old argument over the position of the toilet seat.

Doctors now recommend that in all households with young or recently toilet trained boys it is a safety precaution to leave the toilet seat up, as the rising trend for heavy wooden toilet seats or ornamental toilet seats fall onto penises of the unsuspecting toddlers.

This argument over the Toilet seat is one that generally divides the sexes completely and one that men have ordinarily not been able to emerge victorious from, until now. The fact that it is medically recommended to keep the toilet seat up works hugely in the favour of the male population.

However there are many facts about toilet germs that might make males think again about leaving toilet seats up; when you flush your toilet with the toilet seat up germs fly out and travel up to a 6ft circumference.

There is another part to this argument that it should be down to the majority that use the toilet for example; if it is mainly men that use the toilet then the toilet seat should be left up, but if its mainly women that use the toilet the toilet seat should be left down.

The argument over the position of the toilet seat has caused the breakdown of many relationships and led to countless debates and controversy. It is possible that this argument will never be agreed on by everyone, there will always be an argument over the position of the toilet seat.
