Bathroom Taps - Pegler launches new range of eco-taps

Pegler has unveiled a new set of eco-taps to enable businesses and domestic users to limit water waste and cut expense.

The taps, which are part of the firm's Performa range, are fitted with a flow regulator which reduces water wastage to a maximum of four litres per minute.

The need for the taps has been underlined by ongoing battles on the part of Thames Water and Severn Trent Water to meet leakage targets, along with warnings that water supply could be compromised as a result of global warning, according to Pegler product manager Mike Dickinson.

He said: "In the light of recent water shortages and hosepipe bans throughout the UK this year, we all need to look at water saving measures more closely.

"While water companies fixing leaks will help, we can all play our part in saving water and Pegler has responded with a range of eco-taps."

As well as the Performa range of eco-taps, Pegler also produces a range of self-closing taps and shower controls.
