Bathrooms - Burglar gets caught (short)

A burglar in Des Moines, Iowa was so relaxed while breaking in to a home he had time to take a bathroom break, it has been reported.

Bradley and Tiffany Johnson lost electronic equipment during the theft, but are more perplexed by the thief's trip to the smallest room.

The couple were alerted to the thief's unsolicited bathroom visit when they noticed that the toilet seat had been left up and that a roll of toilet paper was missing.

Mr Johnson told the Des Moines Register: "We are very particular about keeping the toilet lid down, even with our children, but it was up.

"The toilet paper was also pulled down into the waste basket and not how we left it. Q-tips were also taken from the medicine cabinet. Everything in the house was how we left it, except the bathroom."

In a development that suggests that the thief was a desperate man in more ways than one, he was also reported to have made off with food and drink including frozen pizzas and a case of beer.
