Bathrooms - Creating space ''important for homes''

Homeowners should be aware that space is "one of the most sought-after commodities" for those buying a property, according to property consultant Strutt & Parker Lane Fox.
Those conducting DIY projects in the home, such as installing new
bathrooms, may wish to take note of the advice if they are considering selling their homes in the future.
Lulu Egerton, a partner at the estate agent, suggested some of the current trends in home renovation which have arisen with space in mind.
"Nowadays people are becoming much more creative on how best to open up their space internally, whether it be to create basements or extend existing basements," said Ms Egerton.
Some people dig "down and out" in order to create under-pavement cellars and under-floor vaults, she added.
Recent research by Saga Home Insurance found that one in three Britons expect home improvements to last under five years. The study also revealed that bedrooms and bathrooms are the most popular rooms to be refurbished.
