Bathrooms - Development fitted with Ideal Standard bathrooms

A new housing development in Birmingham is to be equipped with Ideal Standard bathrooms.

Under the plans for the development, the homes will be fitted with sanitation-ware by Ideal Standard with Bristan chrome fittings, with the bathrooms described by the developers Charles Church as "shrines to contemporary design".

The development is located at Deer's Lap at Smethwick and consists of three and four bedroom properties priced from £184,950.

Ideal Standard recently launched a range designed by Jasper Morrison which includes washbasins, toilets, shower units and taps, as well as its Tris unit which is a multifunctional bathroom device able to be used a sauna, shower and steam bath.

Previous specially designed ranges for Ideal Standard have included products conceived and designed by Robin Levien, Mario Bellini, David Chipperfield and Seymour Powell.
