A flat has gone on sale in Bristol that has a unique approach to kitchen and bathroom design.

The property in Hanover Street features a bath in the kitchen, while the only toilet is found on the balcony, reports the Brighton Argus.

Nick Muston, auction manager with estate agents Austin Gray, told the paper: "It's an extraordinary place. I've never before come across a property with a bath in the kitchen."

The bath has a hinged work surface, so the owner can save space and continue with their cooking after bathing, while the original outside toilet has been preserved on the balcony.

Estate agents believe that the flat will fetch between £100,000 and £130,000 when auctioned next month.

The red-brick front building has 103 years left on the lease, with the estate agents suggesting that it would make a good project for DIY enthusiasts.
