The new marketing manager with Vaillant has said that the firm will continue to push expansion across all market sectors and promote renewable energy, it has emerged.

James Parkinson was recently appointed to the position of marketing head at the boiler manufacturer's offices in Derbyshire, reports ACR News.

Speaking to the website, Mr Parkinson said: "My biggest challenge is to ensure that the Vaillant brand is represented effectively across all markets, particularly with the ongoing growth of new technologies, including renewable products."

He also pointed out the firm's commitment to renewable technologies and energy efficiency.

Such technologies, Mr Parkinson told the website, offer the UK an opportunity to reduce carbon emissions and create long-term security.

In addition to Mr Parkinson's appointment, former Calor Gas employee Louisa Tipping has become the firm's marketing communications manager, and will promote Vaillant's heating and air conditioning solutions.

Vaillant claims to be Europe's top boiler manufacturer and states that creating energy-efficiency and low emission are part of the firm's aims.
