Condensate Removal Pumps - Grundfos promotes new products in Africa

UK pump manufacturer Grundfos is showing its expertise by expanding into the African market with its new wastewater pumps.

The firm, which makes Conlift Condensate Removal Pump, has established managers in a string of African countries to promote its improved waste water pumps, reports Engineering News Online.

Noting that water breaching the power connection, shaft-seal failure and insufficient cooling can cause problems, Grundfos has developed a unit which addressed these concerns - the SE pump.

Lorraine Smart, marketing manager at Grundfos, told the website that the firm has already appointed managers in Sudan, Ghana, Botswana, Kenya, Angola, and Nigeria, and will soon be adding a base in Gambia, to sell the new pumps to the African market.

Although the SE pump is a heavy duty unit, Grundfos also produces systems for domestic users.

The Conlift Condensate Removal Pump is designed to work with household condensing heating setups and is used in systems that are below the backwash level or with no sewer connection, to lift waste and transport it to the drain.
