Condensin Boilers - Property expert endorses energy-efficient boilers
10/10/2007
Investing in a new boiler will save time and money in the long run, a TV property pundit has claimed.
According to Gary McCausland, who presents TV's How to be a Property Developer, sticking with an old boiler is simply storing up extra work for yourself when it eventually stops working.
Moreover, he added, the outlay for the boiler is more than compensated for by the cost savings that they provide.
Mr McCausland told personal finance website This is Money: "If it's ten years old or more it is worth replacing it as part of your project to save you money and the hassle of having to redo the work when it finally gives up the ghost."
Mr McCausland's comments come in the wake of predictions from Robin Hood-Leader that with the advent of energy ratings for homes as part of the government's Home Information Packs, energy-efficient home improvements are currently a sure-fire way of adding value to your property.
Heat and Plumb offers a range of products through which you can improve the energy efficiency of your home including Trianco's range of
boilers and Activair air source heat pump packs.
