Condensing Boilers - Eco-event hosts boiler replacement lessons

Surrey residents were afforded the rare chance to tap home heating and environmental experts for advice in how to reduce their carbon footprint, at a special event held in Woking last week.
Organised by the Chartered Institute of Building (COIB), the event showed attendees how to enact simple improvements around the home such as fitting a new energy efficient boiler or re-insulating their loft.
Chris Guest, of the CIOB's Surrey branch, told the Woking News and Mail: "In terms of cost effectiveness insulating the roof and walls are key ways we can make our homes more efficient.
"Our
boilers probably put more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere than our cars so improving the efficiency of our heating systems can really go a long way."
The event also saw the presentation of prizes by the Mayor to two local schools in recognition of their efforts to cut carbon emissions.
Heat and Plumb offers a range of products through which you can improve the energy efficiency of your home, including Trianco's range of boilers and Activair air source heat pump packs.
