Dimplex launches air source heat pump training
20/12/2007
Dimplex has devised a training programme specifically for
renewable energy, it has been announced.
Attendees will visit the firm's base in Southampton where they will be extensively schooled in fitting air source heat pumps in an officially accredited programme.
Once enrolled, they will be able to practice on a variety of air source heat pumps and will be schooled in the practical matters of installation as well as the design and workings of the pumps.
At the end of the two-day course, a short exam must be taken, after which installers are officially Dimplex-accredited installers.
Dimplex training manager Steve MacLean said: "There is huge demand for quality renewable solutions in heating and the accreditation course and new training facility means that installers now have access to market-leading expertise and equipment in one place."
Heat and Plumb sell a wide range of Dimplex products including the Presada electric fire and Dimplex electric
towel rails and fan heaters.
