Fires and Heaters - Heat pump excellence awards from Dimplex

Dimplex has recognised the best heat pump installers in a ceremony at their annual installer conference, it has been reported.

The heating solutions firm honoured the winners of three categories in its second Heat Pump Awards Ceremony, according to Buildingtalk.

Earth Energy, from Falmouth, took the Installer of the Year award for carrying out a wide range of heat pump installations, including public sector projects which qualify for the government's Low Carbon Buildings Programme Phase 2 funding.

WDS Environmental was named as a winner of the Domestic Installation of the Year category for the heat pumps and underfloor heating that were installed the Ladderstile Ride self-build in Richmond Park.

The Non-Domestic Installation of the Year award featured joint winners Azure Natural Energy Systems, from Shropshire, and County Durham-based Revolution Power for their work with local authorities and community groups.

Chris Davis, Dimplex head of renewables, told the publication: "The level of entries this year has been outstanding and shows how the market has developed in the last 12 months alone."

Having worked the heating sector for around 60 years, Dimplex offers nearly 400 products such as the DLR towel rail, the TUX 350 portable electric heater and the Chalbury electric fire.
