Fires and Heaters - New Dimplex products launched
24/04/2008
Two new products have been added to the Dimplex range of heating solutions.
A new low-temperature air-to-water pump, the LA 40AS, has been designed to save space, through a horizontal air duct that allows for minimumal wall clearance, while a slow-running fan and encapsulated compressor housing reduces noise.
"Energy efficiency is also a matter of course for the LA 40AS," claims Dimplex.
The heat pump's two compressors have been engineered to run as efficiently as possible, "which avoids an unnecessary waste of energy".
With a maximum flow temperature of 58 degrees Celsius, the firm claims that the new heat pump is suitable for buildings with a high-heat requirement.
Dimplex has also unveiled the HPK 200S - hydraulic tower with heat pump manager.
The new tower works with outdoor air-to-water heat pumps to provide "required heating water flow and trouble-free operation" and can also be used in domestic hot water preparation.
Flexible expansion options are also present in the Dimplex the HPK 200S, which can be hooked up to
boilers or
renewable energy sources, such as solar water heating.
Dimplex offers almost 400 heating products, including the Horton and Wynford electric fires, and has been in business for nearly 60 years.
