Homeowners can keep their
kitchen sinks in tip-top condition by observing a few simple rules when cleaning them, it has been claimed.
According to US newspaper The Boston Globe, cleaning your kitchen sink should be done in three stages.
Hard-to-reach crevices around the tap should be treated with a soft toothbrush, the paper recommends.
Meanwhile, water spots and stains can be removed by rigorously applying a soft dry cloth.
Then to finish off, mineral deposits can be got shot of by mixing up a concoction of white vinegar and water, which is to be used with a soft cloth, completing the process with a through rinse and dry of the affected areas.
Also recommended is using baking soda and white vinegar on your drains twice yearly so as to ensure they are free of nasty niffs.
