Kitchens - Easter reminder for home improvers

Home improvement companies and consumers looking to renovate their homes should be aware that Easter falls early in 2008.

Marketing service Recently Moved highlighted the fact that the spring celebration - which is traditionally a popular time for home improvements to be made - runs between March 21st and March 24th.

The statement warns retailers that they need to step up their marketing campaigns ahead of the period, but it will also act as a reminder to those who plan to make changes to their homes that Easter could be a good time to act.

Potential DIY consumers may currently be planning their buying decisions and those selling all kinds of home equipment should try not to miss out on this opportunity to market themselves, the company states.

Last Easter, a number of insurance providers warned people to get adequate cover before undertaking home renovations such as installing new kitchens, as the cost of causing damage could be high.
