Kitchens - Kitchens star at Grand Design Live
30/04/2008
The Grand Designs Live London exhibition will demonstrate how to add value to a home through improving
bathrooms, kitchens and other rooms.
Featuring more than 500 exhibitors, the event will bring together the UK's largest collection of kitchens and bathrooms, with other rooms sets presented for those interested.
Grand Designs Live, which is hosted by TV star Kevin McCloud, will also allow attendees to practice traditional self-build methods, such as thatching and straw bailing, and free seminars will be provided on topics including sustainability and cities of the future.
A panel of expert architects, designers, surveyors and financial experts will be present to provide building advice to those that are already looking at ways to improve their home.
The organisers claim that "you'll find everything you need to bring your grand design to life, including ideas from every home ever featured in the television show".
Celebrities joining Kevin McCloud include Other People's Houses presenter Naomi Cleaver and DIY expert Jason Bradbury.
Grand Designs Live 2008 will be held at London ExCeL from May 3rd to 11th.
