Oil Tanks - EST enlists community support for energy efficiency drive

The Energy Saving Trust (EST) has called on the support of a community group to help cut Northern Ireland's energy consumption levels.

The body has enlisted the support of Women of the World, a group which celebrates cultural diversity in County Fermanagh and surrounding area and has asked it to promote energy awareness during the 11th annual Energy Saving Week.

In particular the EST is asking the group to encourage its members to help cut their energy use by 20 per cent.

Ann Keelagher from the Energy Saving Trust Advice Centre in Northern Ireland told the Fermanagh Herald: "We are delighted that 'Women of the World' are supporting our campaign and I really hope that as many people as possible join the campaign and commit to save their 20 per cent.

"If we can get used to thinking about the way we use, and often waste energy, we can start making real progress towards tackling climate change and save on fuel bills at the same time".

Those looking to improve the energy efficiency of their homes and cut heating bills in the process would do well to consider investing in modern appliances such as Balmoral Oil tanks or the latest range of Trianco boilers.
