Plumbing - Cops flush out toilet mobile thieves
A stolen box car racer in the shape of a toilet has been recovered by a police patrol.

The toilet, which measures 7ft high and 7ft long, had gone missing when a its owners truck was stolen in Seattle, where it had been entered in a race.

Now, following a routine patrol by a sheriff's deputy, the go-kart has been found undamaged – albeit minus the van in which it was being transported.

Tom Valentine, driver of the vehicle dubbed The Crapster, said that he was now mulling whether to pay the £400 it would cost to have it shipped back to their home in Colorado.

He told the Seattle Times: "The police said they found it out in a field covered with a blue tarp. I'm surprised they found it. I was thinking if they found it, it would be all beat up and at the bottom of a lake."

The Crapster had lived up to the ignominy of its name at the event failing to secure victory in any of those it entered, but it was named ‘number two’ in the people's choice category.
