Plumbing - Litter Kwitter: ''Petter by design''
28/11/2007
Kitty litter trays could soon be a thing of the past, thanks to a purr-fectly brilliant new pet training scheme.
Litter Kwitter uses a colour-coded system to school cats to use domestic toilets in the same way that humans do.
As well as special instructional DVD and booklet, the system consists of a special toilet seat to which an array of discs can be attached as well.
The discs effectively cut the space into which the cat can go to the toilet, improving the accuracy of its aiming at each stage.
Cat owner Jo Lapidge, who came up with the Litter Kwitter, was inspired to action after watching a cat use the toilet in the film Meet the Parents and claims that, as well as making homes less smelly, the device can also yield significant cash savings.
She said: "When your cat is fully trained you will never need to buy litter again - which is great news as it's estimated an average cat owner will spend £2,000 on litter over ten years."
Heat and Plumb don't do toilet training for moggies. However, we do sell a wide range of toilet products including subtle concealed cisterns from Mirage and Armitage Shanks and a range of specially designed toilets for disabled users.
