Radiators - Carisa ups the ante for designer radiators
08/01/2008
A new range of
radiators from Italian firm Carisa has once again proved that at the top-end of the market radiators are less like plain and functional heating devices and more like bona-fide works of art.
The De Luxe collection, however, differ from the minimally designed radiators that are currently in vogue by being available in host of sculptural shapes that actually make them a stand-out feature in any living room, Inventorspot.com reports.
Hence, among the radiators in the range are the Adagio model, which is fashioned in the shape of a harp, the Unique model which resembles pipes from a huge church organ.
Also sure to stand is the wall-hung Turquoise model - a star-shaped radiator, which is sure to brighten any room of the house - and the castor radiator, which is formed of concentric circles.
The designs will be officially launched at the MCE Mostro Convegno in Milan in March.
Heat and Plumb sell a range of radiators from leading brands including designer models from Stelrad Planar and Quinn Barlow.
