Radiators - Radiator bleeding made easy

A bright spark at a Birmingham based eco solution and technology company has come up with a device that he claims enables homeowner to bleed radiators more quickly and easily than ever before.

Martin O'Donnell developed the Easybleed device in his capacity as managing director of Green Innovations.

To use the device one need simply push a button, which will remove the air inside and release a small drop of water from the bleed hole.

This eliminates the problems traditionally associated with bleeding radiators such as "the chance of mislaying the tool as well as the chance of rusty water spraying all over the carpet", Mr O'Donnell told eurekamagazine.co.uk:

Should the device - which is compatible with 90 per cent of the UK models - become industry standard, Mr O' Donnell could be in for a significant windfall.
