Shower Pumps - New high-efficiency pumps from Wilo

Wilo's new product range is to be bolstered by the addition of a high-efficiency pump for thermal solar installations for use in housing and domestic settings.

The Wilo Stratos Eco pump is the first to be introduced to the domestic marketplace, with the pumps hitherto having been designed for use in large buildings.

The product uses around 80 per cent less energy than conventional pumps - spelling significant cost savings for users - and has been awarded the Class A energy label, indicating its very low level of power consumption.

Meanwhile, the use of magnet technology means that the starting torque is three times higher than existing small heating pumps, which combined with the new filter upstream of the cartridge and the anti-blocking software, means that blockages are kept at a minimum.

All products in the range are fitted with EC motor technology, which combines the advantages of wet-running technology with a higher level of efficiency.
