Underfloor Heating - Top eco-friendly holiday destinations
07/11/2007
A guest house in Wales with solar panels and
underfloor heating has been named one of the top ten most eco-friendly holiday spots in the country
The Dyfi Guest House made Wales On Sunday's list thanks to its energy-efficient heating solutions as well as the presence of a local farmers' market, from which all produce used for the guest house's cuisine is sourced.
Also making it in into the 'green' list was Caban Cariad - or the Loveshack in English - which uses energy-efficient appliances and a timber interior to ensure that heat is retained.
Meanwhile, the Bryn-y-Ddafad won praise for its use of a water treatment unit which purifies waste and water to drinking water standard.
If you're an owner of a hotel looking to improve the eco-credentials of your premises, you might like to consider a
septic tank from Balmoral or Edincare's range of fat, oil and grease separator systems, all of which are available from Heat and Plumb.
Also recommended are Devimatt's underfloor heating systems and energy-efficient
boilers from Trianco and Vokera.
