Underfloor Heating - Under floor heating cuts mansion''s heating bill

A US home building company has slashed the energy bill of a 12,000 sq ft property thanks to a number of green heating solutions.

Denver-based InVision Homes has installed energy-efficient boilers and underfloor heating system which is "90 per cent efficient" in the mansion

As a result, its heating bill is now equivalent to that of a 4,000 sqft home, according to Kelly Dutton of InVision Homes.

Ms Dutton's claims were backed up by Noel Sicard of US plumbing firm Elite Mechnical.

He explained to CW2rb.com: "This is a hot-water radiant floor heating system with a modulating condensing boiler. So, if one room comes on the flame will only be 20 per cent, but if another room comes on, that flame will grow."

Heat and Plumb sells a range of green heating solutions through which you can cut your home's energy bills.
