With her salacious shows Madonna is used to raising the temperatures of stadia worldwide, but as she’s got older she’s relying on more traditional ways to heat rooms, it has been reported

According to an unnamed source cited by the Daily Mail, she’s now so particular about the heating systems in the buildings she visits that she insists that they have underfloor heating.

The star’s fetish has little do with saving money on heating bills, however, and more to do with bare faced vanity, an associate close to the star has claimed.

The source said: "All you have to do is stand within six feet of Madonna these days to see how much work she's had done. Her skin is so stretched and thin that it's almost translucent when she doesn't have make-up on.

"She's paranoid about the sun as a result - when she goes to the beach, she covers up from head to toe. And she's obsessed with radiators. They tend to dry out the skin, which ages you prematurely, apparently. Wherever possible, she has underfloor heating instead.”
