Underfloor Heating - Under floor heating rescues football match

Underfloor heating has played a part in Partick Thistle's progress in progressing to the next round of the Scottish Cup.

The two teams had been due to meet in the competition last week, but the game was called off because the ground was too frozen.

However, after the underfloor heating beneath the pitch was turned on the tie went ahead yesterday.

With the pitch in tip-top condition, Partick then went on to grab a famous 2-1 victory after coming back from 1-0 down in a night of high drama.

Both goals for the home side were bagged by Liam Buchanan, taking his total for the season to 14, and in so doing attracting comparisons in the press with Ally McCoist.

The draw for the next round of the Cup will be conducted later this week.
