Toilet seats help in the fight against Bulimia

A German company called ProMädchen or ProGirl has come up with a brand new way of trying to prevent bulimia with the use of toilet seats.

By sticking hot pink stickers on to toilet seats reading “Bulimia is curable”, this ingenious idea is supposed to make young girls think again when they lift the toilet seat cover and are faced with stickers in the shape of a blood splatter. The stickers are being placed on school toilet seats and university toilet seats as well as toilet seats in other public places.

The idea of the toilet seat being used as a place to prevent that disease seems obvious, even though it has never been used before and could come as a shock to the girls who go into the toilets and see this on the toilet seat.

If you think about it, one commentator said, the toilet seat is a fantastic opportunity to get any message across. Everyone uses the toilet and will at some point everyday look at the reverse of a toilet seat
