Boilers - Baxi backs boiler facility15/05/2008 Renowned boiler manufacturer Baxi has helped to open a training facility for young heating and plumbing installers, it has been reported. Havering College's new facility at the Quarles Campus in Romford contains the latest Baxi equipment to ensure that the trainees are well trained in their installation, according to H&VB News. Among the products provided for training are system, heat only and combi boilers, water heaters, fires and hot water storage cylinders. Steve Owen, national training manager for Baxi Group, told the news provider that the firm was committed to helping heating and plumbing professionals improve their skills. "In our industry, products and legislation are constantly progressing, and keeping up to date is essential," he continued. Mr Owen also said that time is valuable to people in the industry, so having a training facility in the south-east will be benefit boiler professionals based there. Baxi, which was founded in 1866, states that it has a commitment to developing innovation, excellence and technology in the heating sector. ![]() |
