Church chooses Vailliant boiler

20/06/2008
A church in Oxfordshire is using a Vaillant condensing boiler to provide its heating needs, it has emerged.

The Goring-on-Thames Free Church found that its old boiler was no longer fit for purpose, leading it to look for a new unit, according to wnibi.com.

It was decided that the church would receive a Vaillant ecoMAX combination boiler along with a heat exchanger to make sure the high-efficiency boiler does not place too much pressure on the system.

Owen Morrel, who is the administrator at the church, told the news provider: "The boiler works very well and we have a nice comfortable church by the time our 80-strong congregation settle down for the service at 10:30am each Sunday."

Vailliant's ecoMAX boilers are SEDBUK A rated and have user-friendly diagnostic display to simplify its commissioning, servicing and operation.

The company was formed in 1874 and was the first company to begin Europe-wide tests of fuel-cell boilers in 2002.
