Underfloor Heating - Under floor heating helps couple ''put their stamp'' on Wales apartment

An enterprising couple in Wales have described how the installation of
underfloor heating makes their nineteenth-century apartment "fabulous" during both summer and winter.
Gaynor and John Parry explained to the South Wales Echo that their Cardiff home, which is located within a manor house, was originally built by ship owners on account of its "sweeping views" over the Bristol Channel.
In addition to investing in underfloor heating and stone flooring, the DIY enthusiasts replaced the kitchen and bathroom of their apartment, which is one of eight luxury units in the building.
"We have always both loved DIY and I have always enjoyed putting my own stamp on my home," remarked Gaynor.
Of their now toasty conservatory, she added: "It's fabulous simply because it's so big and is a wonderful place to sit both in the summer and the winter."
Underfloor heating systems have experienced a boom in popularity among home improvements enthusiasts because they are located out of sight in a house and have substantial potential for energy efficiency, according to experts.
