Wet rooms ''an attractive addition to homes''

07/05/2008

Installing a wet room to a house is a way to add value and save space, according to a leading publication.

The Scottish Sunday Mail has said that a cupboard converting into an extra shower will make the house more attractive to potential buyers and will prove useful to those living in the home.

Also noted is that by using a shower in a wet room, space is freed up in the bathroom, giving it a less cluttered and more open plan feel.

"For sheer luxury, underfloor heating can be added to the wet-floor to provide an even, uniformed heat, as well as being pleasant to walk on," the newspaper claims.

Points that are noted include using a wet floor to avoid the need for a full shower tray and ensuring that the room is well waterproofed.

The paper recommends that Impey wet rooms are looked at and singles out its Aqua Dec product as a useful in such a project.

Impey - which stands for 'Impossiblities Made Possible Especially for You' - has won several awards for the design and innovation it has shown in its wet room products.
