New air-to-water heat pump from Dimplex
23/04/2008
Leading heat pump manufacturer Dimplex has unveiled a new unit to add to its product range.
The compact LIKI 14TE is medium-temperature air-to-water heat pump, which is designed for indoor use. Dimplex states that it would suit domestic hot water preparation.
"Even in the coldest areas
the outside air can be an attractive heat source that will amortise the costs for its utilisation," says Dimplex.
Providing a maximum flow temperature of 65 degrees Celsius, the LIKI 14TE can also be used on lower settings to provide heating for the whole home through an
underfloor heating system.
User-friendly aspects of the new heat pump are also flagged up by the manufacturer, which reveals that the pump manager is easy to use, while the unit's housing and fan work to minimise noise.
German manufacturer Dimplex creates other products based around energy efficiency in addition to heat pumps, including solar water heating, electric fires and portable heaters.
