Revamped radiator sealant released
24/01/2008
Leaking
radiators could be a thing of the past thanks to improved new version of Slyglas' Plumberfix sealant.
The product is available both to plumbing professionals and amateurs and offers an effective way to combat leaks.
Available in a 64g block, the sealant also offers the advantages of being flexible, strong and waterproof and best of all hardens quickly.
It might also be employed for other uses around the home including tackling leaks on water tanks, water heaters, gutters which have become cracked and metal pipes, Builders Merchants Journal reports.
Plumberfix is equally practical for fixing broken pots and water cans, but should not be applied to soft plastic surfaces.
News of the product follows the launch of the Easybleed gadget which enables users to bleed a radiator at the touch of a button.
Heat and Plumb stocks a wide range of radiators including stylish and modern models such as Stelrad Planar radiators and Quinn Barlow radiators.
