Botley Mills museum in Hampshire is housed in a building which predates the Norman Conquest and is even listed in the Domesday Book's proto-Pevsner review of Britain's building stock. Grand as the Grade II-listed building is however, the outmoded toilet and water treatment facilties left more than a little to be desired.
